Autocad should be completely included (merged) in Revit. It is so stupid to use so many additional softwares beside Revit, like Autocad, Civil 3D, Map 3D, Advance Steel, Infraworks, Navisworks. How's got the money to buy all that? And to what profit?
Exporting and importing from BIM to CAD and back to BIM is causing line faults and imprecision, as it is done using simple precision, not double precision.
More yet, many notions in CAD and BIM have similar names, yet different functions, e.g. groups, blocks, dynamic blocks, families, selection sets, etc. Other entities have no equivalent, like there is no polyline object in Revit.
Editing tools like Trim/Extend are grouped different, and like where is the Fillet command in Revit?
I hate the Array command in Revit, Array in Autocad is much better. I hate Align command in Autocad, i simply love the Align (and lock) command in Revit. And where is the Stretch command in Revit? It's either Move or Align, as per case.
For me, Autocad is like MS Paint, Revit is like Photoshop. It is simply counterproductive to use them both. We really need convergence to BIM.
