Solid Fills for Custom created Systems

In our projects we create systems, duplicate Sytem Types. By changing the Type Properties of our "new" Systems and edit the Graphic Overrides, we can change the line colors. In this way the systems show in the colors as we want/need them to. Onfortunately we can't change the pattern override in this way, but just the Lineweight and Linestyle. It would be great if the possibility would be added to change the Type Properties of System Types not with custom Pattern Fills. In this way we don't have to create new color filters for the different System Types anymore.

With kind regards,

Bjorn Koolen

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't this something that should be done via view templates?

If I understand the situation correctly, there is a really easy way to do this, using view templates and filters.

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, what your are saying is right, however we intend to use color filters
as little as possible. We have our reasons for this, but thats another
topic.

We want to have the possibility to create our own Systems and apply V/G
Overrides via the Type Properties. This is possible, but only with Line
Styles and Line Weights applied to it, not with Pattern Fills. In this way
you don't have to use Color Filters for Systems.
