@Anonymous you are not getting the point. The way Revit currently has User Keynotes hosted to an element but not taking any information from them, is an anomaly - I had experts from the Revit development team pretty much agree with me on that. For hosted Keynotes, there are Element Keynotes and Material Keynotes. There should absolutely be a real (truly unhosted) User Keynote available, for tagging elements that are not modeled, or for managing consistency on plan notes. Text notes are not a viable substitute for User Keynotes, for the simple reason that they are not driven from a central database. Nor will copying Text notes keep them consistent over time. Anyone who has done the simplest drawing set will appreciate the difference.
