Welcome to the Revit Ideas Board! Before posting, please read the helpful tips here. Thank you for your Ideas!

Please, let us print PDFs and export DWFs the same line weight set in Revit.

Although we can set the thinnest line weight as 0.025 mm in Revit, the lines thinner than 0.08 mm are printed or exported to PDF the same line weight (around 0.1 mm).

There are some comments on web saying that it is related with PDF printers, but the same problem occurs in exported DWF files too, although the DWF is an Autodesk format.

Inability to set the proper line weight reduces the readability of the small scale project drawings and detail drawings shared in PDF or DWF format. Additionally, there are plotters able to print lines 0.020 mm lines.

What is the logic behind such a behavior?

Please, let us print PDFs and export DWFs the same line weight set in Revit.

how to create pdf without thick line in revit?

Please, Autodesk, correct this limitation. It is not possible to stop at a thickness of 0.85 mm! I have problems with all my work.

One of the reasons why bosses are not 100% into Revit is that they "don't like how it looks"

I have come to the conclusion that it is because of this limitation, which makes all the planes homogeneous and without depth

Autodesk, please, remove this absurd limitation
