It should be possible to move rebars individually within their own set. The set will maintain its original count and spacing, one or more of the bars are just dislocated.

The only way to accomplish this today is to split the set into multiple sets. This is both time consuming and creates unnecessary complication of models and drawings. A simple set of 6 rebars may have to be split into three different sets of 2 rebars and they must then be counted and tagged three times instead of just one.
There should also be a new layout rule which maintains an exact spacing, and the final bar in the set picks up the difference to make the set fit.

“Maximum spacing” does not really make sense at a construction site where bars are placed with the same spacing. When having intersecting sets of rebars it is essential that they have the same spacing, and not just nearly the same spacing.
The way to get around it today is to model bars as “number with spacing”, then model one rebar less than required, and have a single rebar in a set on its own at the end. This unnecessarily complicated because it takes twice as long to model, and causes confusion with the drawing and tags
I have previously seen more rebar distribution types, by Extraneous, which was excellent. There are probably other similar suggestions around as well. The bottom line is that I want more options, regardless of how exactly they are implemented.
