Greater Parameterization of Spline Geometry / Conceptual Massing

For all of Revit's strengths, the conceptual massing environment feels incomplete. This is most evident when working with splines. First of all, the inability to generate closed splines is embarrassing. It's a major hurdle to inter-operable workflows coming out of other platforms such as Rhino. More specifically, the inability to generate splines that have control vertices that can be parameterized is a failure. This could have been as simple as having the same functionality that spline through points accomplishes. It's the point of no return that tells designers, "sorry, Revit doesn't work. Use something else like Rhino." Come. On. Autodesk. You are way better than this. You're so close to having a stellar modeling platform, but these critical details keep being left out. Please double your efforts to turn the conceptual massing environment, and the spline geometry in particular, into at least the equal of those in Rhino (It will also boost inter-operability in Dynamo and gain you a large number of converts in the process). Or shall we suffer an innumerable amount of years waiting similar to those we spent in anticipation of a simple working perspective view that only just came out in 2019?! Yikes! Let's go already. Agreed that the line types are limited in the massing. Really annoying that you can't cut a spline or edit it easily.

The IS spline by point that you can control with reference point however.
