Schedule Enhancement - Highlight Active Row

When working in any schedule within Revit (such as a Room Finish Schedule or Door Schedule) the entire active row & column should highlight in gray to more easily identify the active cell.

Suggestion for Revit 2020 - to give us 2020 vision in schedules!

A scheduled line item can extend out of the view window when creating a detailed schedule such as a finish schedule. It would be useful if you could highlight the entire line you have chosen to edit similar to what is possible to do in excel (see attached image) or add some sorta of identifier reflecting what line you are editing. When scrolled further to the right to edit information the line number / room number disappears (see attached image) and you cant tell which line you are on unless you physically put something up to the screen such as a piece of paper or ruler edge.

That and a way to see the hole text when editing, or a way to import an excel prety sheet (like autocad oLE object).

The way we do now is to import excel sheet by jpg image. The quality it lame...

The schedules needs major retinking.

I think the whole display of schedules system needs an overhaul... The user expects it to work like Excel...

Agree, should also be able to grey out every second line permanently (or give other design options) so that the schedules are easier to read when printed.

@Anonymous I couldn't agree more. I've heard people in the field comment on how difficult it is to read schedules while on a project site. Better formatting of these schedules would be helpful not only for those of us entering data in Revit, but also for reading drawings in PDF sets, printed copies, etc.

In addition to the above request, it would also be useful to have the ability to format text in individual cells (such as the ability to Bold, Underline, or Change font color to RED) to be able to call attention to key information or easily identify information that has been changed when issuing ASKs/RFIs.

It seems this has made it into 2020.2. The highlight is in light blue I understand.
