Allow user to disable "zoom to fit" when double clicking scroll wheel on mouse

Those times when Revit is getting "tired" and isn't running very fast, I'll click & hold the scroll wheel down on the mouse to drag the view, and since Revit is running slower and doesn't move the view right away and my impatience kicks in and I try it again. Sometimes Revit thinks I double clicked the scroll wheel and zooms the view all the way out. This gets extremely annoying. I like everything else the scroll wheel does in Revit and every other program on my computer, so I don't want to do anything that deactivates it's functions on anything else. It would be nice to disable the double click zoom option.

I've checked in the "double click options" and hot keys and it doesn't show anything about the scroll wheel on the mouse.

I realize this is not a huge or top priority, but it would be a nice feature to be able to disable it. I can't imagine it'd take more than something in the hot keys settings or double click options.

I can zoom to fit with a double-click of the middle mouse?! Why didn't I get the memo?! Thanks for the tip.

I agree that this can truly be infuriating at times. The double click speed to activate is really slow. I've tried everything to disable or workaround this (feature? trap? oversight?) and the only thing that works is to slooooow down and let revit decide that now I can click again without zooming. Please Eliminate or give us an option to disable. Thanks
