CATEGORIZING REVIT PROJECT BROWSER VIEWS
Hi, I love using Revit but there are some things that could be improved especially with categorization.
I've found that it is quite hard sometimes concentrating to select a specific view you want when you have so many within a project, it would be a good idea to incorporate colours or something similar to help make views stand out more to the eye. For example if I was looking for a floor plan, all floor plans would be green. And all drafting views would be blue or like a small coloured dot next to each view etc.
Another thing that would be super helpful, is showing what views are on sheets in the view category by also like a symbol next to the ones that are put on sheets. This is very important with drafting views as sometimes I can create a whole lot of details and put a few on sheets, but sometimes could miss some accidentally and have some details that haven't been put on sheets. This is actually a very crucial thing, so please implement it in. Most of the time I spend a few minutes dragging every single view onto a sheet with that error "youve already put this view on a sheet" until I get to one that doesnt get the error.
Also how about putting in an isometric drawing mode for details? Where detail lines snaps to a isometric grid or something?
Hope this helps! And that you can achieve some of the things I've given ya.
