It should be a no-brainer, but it's not always that easy. The easiest way would be to get a rough tonnage, meaning to get the "full length" of the steel profiles = the length from one node to another in the analytical model.

To get the exact tonnage would mean a full detailing with shop drawings, and that's not yet possible in revit. You could export revit model to Advance Steel, detail everything to shop drawings, and then create a tonnage report in Advance Steel.
