Welcome to the Revit Ideas Board! Before posting, please read the helpful tips here. Thank you for your Ideas!

Views used on sheets display in project browser

I would like to be able to differentiate views on sheets within the project browser.  Simply graphic font application would be great, have every view on a sheet display in a bold font, or even another color.  This way as you go to add multiple views from the project browser (which is so much faster than the pulldown) you can clearly identify which views are already used.

Would hiding views that ARE on sheets not work for this purpose? Filtering out views on sheets from the view section of the project browser has worked for me in the past, and prevents this confusion.

Thank you adcherry.  While I realise there are workarounds for this and many of the ideas on this board, in this case my overall preference is the project browser remain the one location where you can find everything all the time regardless of it's status in the project.

I would prefer a little paper icon next to all view names already placed on sheets. And when you hover the mouse over that icon a small info-tip to appear and specify the sheet name/code.

It would also be great if the project browser was set up like the ribbon, with tabs for each category; views, legends, schedules, sheets, etc. (similarly to how ACAD has its palettes or properties)

YAY TABS!!!YAY TABS!!!
