Paste aligned to selected sheets

We can paste a bunch of stuff aligned to selected views but there is no way to paste, say a schedule, aligned to a bunch of selected sheets. Instead we have to go to each sheet individually and paste the elements there.

It would be very helpful if we could just paste a bunch of (sheet compatible elements) to a bunch of selected sheets.

You can do this already.

1. Place the schedule on a sheet and adjust as desired.

2. Select the schedule and click CTRL-C to copy to your clipboard.

3. Go to Modify tab > Paste dropdown > Aligned to Selected Views.

4. Choose the sheets you want from the list.

This also works for keynote legends, but unfortunately will not work for other types of legends.

Funny. I guess there are so many places in Revit where sheets are not quite like regular views or where actions are restricted on sheets that it never occurred to me to even try what I already know to work for regular views.

I consider myself an advanced Revit user and  I simply assumed that this wouldn't work in Revit, purely based on the name of the action: "Aligned to Selected Views". I expected to see "Aligned to Selected Sheets."

Oh well, consider this one resolved :cara_guiñando_un_ojo:

Oh maaan, what have I done?! It seems that people only ever read the tile of an idea and not the body and now everyone is assuming that this is something that's not already working and they're all voting for this. Stop it people! Oh yeah, none of you will ever read this message. <sad face>
