Allow Existing-phase floor, slab & wall layer 'profiles' to be visible in section

Currently, when cutting a section through floors or walls that are set on Existing phase, Revit will not show the profile of that wall or floor (corrugated metal deck, wall layers, etc.), but rather just the outermost lines of the structure. It appears that this is tied to the Material applied to the phase in Phasing > Graphic Overrides. If the material is set to anything at all, it will remove the detailed layers from the structure. This is the out of the box setup for the structural analysis-default template.

Material has to be changed to blank and then not hidden to show deck profiles for existing floors. Removing material phase will show both new and existing deck profiles, but then you have to check the box under existing halftone or the objects in 3d views appear with the same shade. Then by checking the halftone option, you lose any projection and cut line overrides.

Option 1:

I believe that whatever material is applied to the phase, the appearance of layered profiles should remain and not be overridden. A floor system built with floor deck and concrete versus a flat structured concrete slab are different types of floor system and should be represented as such.

Option 2:

Add Visibility Graphics/View Template options to override the  "Phasing Graphic Overrides
