Allow Room Data to show up in Areas Schedules

It would be really handy to be able to access the information associated with Rooms in an Area Schedule.  Would unlock the ability to combine gross and net square footage into one occupancy schedule.

Pieter thank you for the post.  I have seen that suggestion before and I think it would be tremendously useful.  Especially for our residential and hospitality projects.  We struggle with the room naming on those and zones would help.

My suggestion is actually looking at this from the opposite end of things.  I want the ability to use my Area plans to define areas however I like, but also use some of the room information when needed.  The scenario for this would be a mixed occupancy building where we have to show and calculate occupancy for a gross occupancy group and a net occupancy group.

I think this might solve your issues- if you agree please share and vote for it!

Or allow areas to be accessed via multi-category schedule as rooms currently are.  Essentially, per the original post we need to be able to combine date from rooms and areas to facilitate calculating both net and gross square footage for occupant loads.
