Displacement in the beam system.

When creating a beam system, it is not possible to specify the displacement of elements relative to the plane on which the beam system is located. This is very important if the beam system is located on the surface of the element and it is not possible to specify with offset, such as roof rafters, beams or sticking out or in the body of the element and there is no way to indicate the exact location relative to the surface.

I must be missing something (since this has 23 votes). It sounds like you're asking for vertical displacement, but that's provided by the "Elevation" property. Or (since you mention rafters) are you talking about cantilevers? But you can just edit the sketch for that (and if Pick Supports is used, the line will always be relative to the support, even if it moves - i.e. the overhang distance will remain constant). So I assume it must be something else?

If it is a reference plane, but if it is a surface, then the displacement in depth (height) is not done
