Temporary dimensions for Schedules

You would click on a column header, cell or whatever either on schedule view or on schedule placed on a sheet and you see the width of the column as temporary dimension. You can change the value and resize the column, lock the dimension and click the equality mark if you have selected multiple columns. Everything that Revit dimensions normally allow you to do.

That would be nice.

You can do most of that in the Schedule View.

Admittedly, not a graphical interface, but you can enter widths of columns, and even a total width across multiple columns.

No lock, though
