Hi Tomek,
Im not long at revit, but what I ment was that you can't generate a wall
buildup detail nessaseraly to the way you want. The reason being; each
layer in your wall systems family can only be then edited as a single
volume. In my circumstances I would be thinking of an external wall build
up as; a stood wall with insulation in between and then cladded externally
with timber shingles. So for the reason that I can't create a wall family
where I can build in individual elements that can have parameters
quantities, etc... attached. I. E centre to centre studs, insulation
in-between, etc... I think editable system families should be added to
revit. I. E of current if I have a battoned wall the best I can do is have
a solid timber wall layer show in my detail.
I haven't been doing it long, but if you have a solution to this please let
me know.
Regards
Corey
