Elevation views require renaming - 'back' is 'front' and 'front' is 'back'
Hi,
Posting on behalf of @Alfredo_Medina
Revit 2018, generic model adaptive template - In the 3d view, the cube clearly identifies a certain view as the "FRONT".
When you go to the elevation view named as "FRONT" it does not show you what the 3d view shows as "FRONT", but the opposite, the BACK.
And of course, the elevation view named as "BACK" shows you what the cube shows as FRONT.
However, what the 3d cube shows as LEFT does match what the elevation view shows as LEFT.
Therefore, in summary, LEFT is LEFT, RIGHT is RIGHT, but... FRONT is BACK and BACK is FRONT.
@Alfredo_Medina reported this inconsistency several times in previous years and requires that the elevation views are still named correctly in the next release.
Changing the names of the Front and Back elevation views in the generic template is required.
BUT...
