'Place an Image' Button (for previously loaded images)

We need a 'Place Image' button somewhere within the UI.
We currently cannot place an image previously loaded into the project.

(Decal's are only good for realistic view and can only be placed on model surfaces, there are ideas addressing these problems too)

It would be a useful feature to be able to drag and drop a copy of an image file, already linked into a Revit file, from the 'Manage Images' dialog box under the insert tab directly into the model. This would be helpful to our firm in instances such as inserting client logos on multilple drawings.

This should be a fairly easy fix. It seems strange that this button isn't available currently and there is no way to place an image that is loaded into the project.

This would be helpful to everyone. It's silly that I have to load that same image all over again to use it elsewhere in the same project. We have the concept of families and instances of families so it's not that much of a stretch to expect to be able to create instances of other objects too.

This request is a typical example of lots of low hanging fruit that is being ignored. I wish that someone in charge of the road map was brave enough to just say "Hey! Let's take a bunch of these easy to implement features and get them out the door."

Revit is like a great pair of running shoes... with sand inside them. Implementing a whole lot of these little, niggly, seemingly insignificant features would take out a whole lot of chafing and actually make a lot of people really happy. Just sayin'
