Welcome to the Revit Ideas Board! Before posting, please read the helpful tips here. Thank you for your Ideas!

Workset last edited timestamp

In our model, we use worksets to separate the different systems we are modeling, (different systems of conduit, supports, busway, cable bus, communications cable tray, security cable tray, equipment, etc.) As part of our workflow, we have to export and upload any new work to the FTP of our BIM coordinator. Previously, when we had used AutoCAD, this was easy enough to see, because the time stamps for the different CAD files could be sorted in windows explorer, and all the files changed since the last upload would be cleaned, and uploaded.

Now, with Revit there is no way (that we know of) to track the work being done. If there was a way to add a timestamp to the worksets, similar to how there is an "edited by" property to most everything else, that could be pulled into a schedule, that would be amazing.

We could have a schedule of all the worksets in the project, and a timestamp showing when those worksets were last edited, and instead of how we currently are operating, (exporting everything, every time, since we have so many people working in the model, its impossible to tell what has changed), we could only export the views/worksets that have actually changed.

Thanks
