I Just installed HSM2018 and found that the install corrupted the command manager in SolidWorks 2016. Its all back to normal now. If any one experiences this issue, use the steps below below the Mark Porsby posted.

Uninstalling should not make a difference in this case. It is most likely the SolidWorks User Interface registry that has become corrupted.
It is fairly easy to fix it using the Windows Registry Editor, but have to be comfortable to change data in the registry, because you can mess up Windows entirely if you change the wrong item.
- Click Start\Run and type regedit.
- Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SolidWorks\SolidWorks 2013 (or the equivalent for the version you have installed).
- Locate and right-click the User Interface key and click Rename.
- Rename it to something like User InterfaceBACKUP.
