Problem with Chamfer

Can someone help me figure out what is going on with this? In this assembly file whenever I try to do this 2d chamfer it exits and enters around the chamfer. I cannot get it to stay in the part and complete the chamfer in one step. It works fine in the same settings in a part file. I am lost.

This is most likely being caused by the Tolerance setting on the "Passes" tab. Open it up to a larger value, should cure the problem.

IF it doesn't, could you share your file?

There is no Tolerance field in HSMWorks still @LibertyMachine, you have to go into Compare & Edit to change it @wayneTTS4Z

I find a tolerance of .0015" usually takes care of it.

I didn't see the HSMworks callout, I assume that was gleaned from the screenshot?

And HSMWorks doesn't have that? Sheesh......

The file is huge since its an assembly with a bunch of parts.

Here are the settings. I have changed just about everyone and it has no effect.

@jeff.pek

I believe this bug is now over a year old roughly seven months old, any news? I will see if I can dig up the original thread.

Edit: found the email, should be CAM-5068 I believe.

Edit 2: also this: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/hsm-support-forum/2d-chamfer-oddity/m-p/6370941#M14830

CAM-4370 from June last year.

@Steinwerks: You're right that these are still open. Adding @fonsecr to chime in.
