Pocket Feed In Spiral Centric

Hello,
how can I set the spiral of the Feed In to be centered on the circular pocket or is there no way to do that? I tried it with the approach position but that has no effect. See picture two.

only way I know to get a center start is to turn off helix plunge as well as all lead-ins, just a straight line plunge.

you could drill at center and then plunge at drill hole option.

why is this a concern?

Alternatively, exclude the central surface area from finishing machining.

Edit the model, sketch a circle and split the surface.

This way the central area will not be considered for fine machining.

It's not a direct problem, but when I dive in with the spiral and when he's down and the pocket starts, the stepover (woc/ae) for the first few rounds is very high. That's why it would be nice if there was this option.

only toolpath I got to go down the center is an 3D Adaptive

In fact, that's how it works with 3D Adaptive. So why doesn't it work with 2D Pocket? HSM Works is really strange.
