Paraller toolpath along sine wave

I'm trying to machine some stock with a sine wave. But the toolpath doesn't follow the model in some regions. I'm using a 1/4 .in ball nose end mill. Using a smaller end mill reduces the difference between the the model and the toolpath but doesn't eliminate it. If I find no way to fix the issue I'll end up using a very small (0.05) end mill in HSM to generate the tool path and a larger one (1/4 or 1/8) to cut it. But I'd like to generate the path with the tool I'll sue to cut it.

Hi @Anonymous,

when I simulate your cam then I can't see anything wrong. The Toolapth can't be the same like your Model contour.

Thanks   @FTKnur !!!

And to think I spent hours trying to figure this out 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️. Up until now I had only worked with 2.5D contours where (at least in the some sections) the toolpath matches the model.

Looking back, I should have figured it out when simulating the toolpath, but oh well. One good thing is that I went through all the toolpath settings I ussually don't touch and found a few useful ones.
