No 2D Chamfer option in Part Files

Hi - I think this is probably a simple fix and me being stupid.....and as title says in a Part file there is no 2D Chamfer Button on the Ribbon whereas there is in an Assembly File (see both pics).  Any ideas why?

I'm running Inventor 2017 Pro with Inventor HSM 2018.

Hmm. That's very odd. I would expect the same set of commands to be available in each environment.

Can you try something:

  Shut down Inventor, and then go to the directory:

   %appdata%\autodesk\inventor hsm

Here, there should be a file named "ribbonState_xxx.xml" (xxx could be "pro" or "full", I think), and delete it.

Then restart Inventor.

I'd expect the 2d Chamfer item to show up in the "expanded" panel, as you see it in the assembly environment.

Hi Jeff - you're a star!  That's fixed it thanks.  I deleted both ribbonState_Full.xml and ribbonState_Pro.xml and all's working now....so thanks very much 🙂
