As the title says, the stock shows out of the part in machine simulation.
Look at the picture. The green thingy is suppossed to be somewhere else.
Have seen it before but not totally sure how to solve it.

I've had the same issue last month with some parts..
Did you bother support? I have sent them the problem but still did not get any response.

Hello again,
I tried to simulate two different parts on two different machines and "show stock" option is not working again.
And when I turn on show stock this happens.
As you can see at the previous screenshot, my stock is cylindrical and not rectangular..
And when I tried with different part, I cant see the stock at all...
So, what can be done here? It is a big issue..

I'd say this is a bug!
I recently had a talk with my reseller and heard of a lot of interesting background views or should I say rumours that I can not repeat here. But if all this become reality we can hopefully look forward of what will come.
Only this: Machine simulation appears to be on halt in favour of something much more powerful. I also switch to halt for now.
Show stock from the Simulation menu doesn't work for any type stock other than a prizmatic rectangle type stock. This means no cylinders or castings or forgings.
Stock simulation does show the correct stock of any type. The best way to achieve this is in an assembly or part mode using 2 solids, 1 for the part the other for the stock.
Agreed that the 2 different simulations should behave in the same manner, but they don't. Would be nice for the tool path editor to behave in the same manner also, but it doesn't. These issues have been there from the beginning and I don't see any changes to them in the future. It is what it is.
I have asked one of the developers for his input but I haven’t heard back yet
Has this issue been addressed at all? I continue to struggle with this atleast weekly. Stock will show but it is rarely in the correct place. every once in awhile i will get lucky and it works and i can see stock simulation in machine simulation. This would be very helpfull for trunion table machine simulation.
