HSMxpress and Solidworks 2020, not working

Hi!

Just upgraded to SW 2020 and thought that sinse HSMxpress was labeled 2020 they would play nice, but they didn't. HSMxpress woun't start 😕 Is there a new release of HSMxpress compatible w/ SW 2020 on it's way?

What build of HSMxpress are you using?

The 2020.2 update should work with SWX 2020.

Can't open the "about" from SW (the add-in is not loaded) but add/remove programs says:

And that was the same version I found on Autodesk when I was looking for an update today.

Thanks. That's the original 2020 version.

You should have the Autodesk Desktop App installed, and that should make the 2020.2 update available. If not, let me know, and I can send you a direct link.

OK, tried that today but the Desktop app did not even find HSMXpress, just som "rendering" tool?! Then I uninstalled the Desktop app 🙂 What to do?

I'm having a similar issue.  I'm using SW's 2020 service pack 2.  I downloaded HSMexpress but it's the 2021 version and doesn't seem to work at all.  Is there a link to the older version that I could install or could it be e-mailed to me?

We have heard of some issues with the initial release of HSMxpress 2021. There's a 2021.1 update out, which seems to be working better. Can you update to that, and then see how things go? It should be available in the Autodesk Desktop App. If that doesn't work, then we can try to dig in a bit. But, it should work fine with SWX 2020.
