HSMWORKS setup sheet not working after installing HSMWorks 2017

After installing HSMWorks 2017 I can not get the setup sheet post to work. I am getting the following error message. I noticed that in line 6 it's loading locale is HSMXpress. Should I uninstall HSMXpress?

Hi @Anonymous,

You have copied the setup sheet (setup-sheet.cps) into your own personal folder (C:\Users\jasons\Documents\HSM POST). So you have to make sure you also copy any dependent files (in this case setup-sheet.css).

About HSMXpress.

It sure looks like you are running HSMXpress rather than HSMWorks. The last installed product will be the active one in SolidWorks.

If you no longer use HSMXpress, then you can uninstall it. And then reinstall HSMWorks again to make sure it is registered as an add-in in SolidWorks.

Thanks for the reply. I got the same error message after moving the .css file. I also got the same error when I used the post from it's original location. I will try to uninstall Xpress.

I uninstalled Xpress and HSMWorks 2017, reinstalled HSMWorks 2017. I still get a very similar error message. Xpress reference is gone.

That is a different issue. I had a bug in a recent HSMWorks release that caused this.

Please just download the setup sheet from here at that should go away:

Hi fonsecr,

Once the set up sheet folder is downloaded how do you use it with HSM?

Thanks,

Hi -

You should be able to use the Post Process command, and then navigate to the folder where you put the downloaded post to create a setup sheet using it.

Or, (I think this will work) you can right-click in the operation manager, and choose Options->Select Default Setup Sheet. This will prompt you to locate the post that you want to use when creating setup sheets using the Setup Sheet command.
