HSMWorks no longer available for Fusion Personal Use?

I've been using HSMWorks for a while and have built up a number of projects, one of which I'm working on at the moment. However, yesterday (March 29) I tried to open SW but received an error from HSMWorks that the license could not be retrieved.

After searching for a while I found the following thread which mentioned the upcoming retirement of HSMWorks - the annoncement says that the process will start on March 25th for commercial users. Looking in my AD account, the download option for HSMWorks is no longer there. Does this mean that the plug has been pulled for Personal users from March 25th?

I have a load of work which I'd like to retrieve but which I can't even view now due to this change. Is there any chance that Personal users can be allowed to access HSMWorks again - even temporarily - so that the work can at least be recreated in Fusion?

the HSMWorks entitlement personal was free and only the ones who paid for it are able to use it until March 25th, 2028.

sorry you are "SOL"

Is there an "official" comment on this from AutoDesk?

As a personal user I received no notification of this change - I've had to work it out for myself from the available forum threads. No longer having access to the ssoftware has left me facing the prospect of starting all my work again from scratch in Fusion - or possibly an alternative platform.

SolidCAM has a free Maker version for SolidWorks: https://www.solidcam.com/en-us/cam-modules/solidcam-maker-version

Well, I have the same problem like @spangled

HSMWorks tells me since 2 days that there is no subscription found.

But I am subscribed to Fusion and I pay for it - only to have access to HSMWorks

AD totally sucks

@daniel.hagedornF9YHX , do you have the free Hobbyist version of Fusion or do you pay the yearly subscription?

Renewed this week, but I learned in the meantime that HSM was discontinued end of last month in new subscriptions.

Guess that is the issue

Looks like I wasted some money

yes you had to renew before March 25th.

did you let it lapse?

otherwise you should have gotten an email stating that date and that you'd be able to use HSMWorks until March 25th 2028 as long as you keep current.

I posted this to warn HSMWorks users: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/hsm-support-forum/hsmworks-end-of-life-march-25th-2028/td-p/13297431

No, I have not received any notification, otherwise I would have acted on it.

Looks like my subscription just ended at a very unfortunate timing and renewal was meaningless
