BACKPLOT!!!

Who's genius idea was it to remove one of the most useful tools in the edit program...BACKPLOT!!

That function highlighted and aided in the fix up of bugs from the HSM software for example the blind hole inside profile bug, yes i know its fixed now but backplot was still detrimental in the catching and fixing of that code error.

Very poor communication and implementation on AD's side regarding this!!

The aggregate tooling: we've definitely tried. Aggregate milling is particularly tricky. tool orientation doesn't solve it, and all our requests for implementation went unanswered due to not being able to integrate it into HSM. It's not a huge problem since we can effectively program it from another plane, then swap/replace the axes in code editing to produce the proper paths. extra work and room for error to be sure...

Did you ask a reseller to implement the aggregate milling?

That would be his chance to make money so to speak. But alright, he might not know how to.

I expect that going that route, which would ultimately require modification/plugin to HSM, in addition to another custom post (in this case, for an obsolete control) would be cost prohibitive and not a good return compared to "making it work" for the time being. Aggregate tooling isn't all too common or "mainstream" on milling machines so I can understand it being a low priority for integration into HSM... Other software can deal with it, particularly for carpentry routering I'd imagine (which is where it seems to be most prevalent). Bit off topic and all but thanks for asking about it anyway.
