Hi All ,

My customer has two different machines. They use HSMWorks R2.41474 and SOLIDWORKS 2017 SP2. They did desing the machines. But , They can not worked correctly when set up the machine simulation.

We did try machine simulation like in the below link. But it did not work right.

I send you machine cad model. Could you tell us where we made the error? I write the machine axis values below. Also I have a lot of machines working. I get an error when defining a new machine.

MAKINO V33 (5 axis index machine)

X axis :  -600  / +0  (Head Move)

Y axis:   -400 /  +0  (Table Move)

Z axis:   -350 /  +0  (Head Move)

C axis:  -360/  +360 (Table Move and 4. axis)

B axis:  +17 /  +117 (Table Move and 5. axis)

MAKINO V77 (3 axis Machine)

X axis : -1200 / +0  (Head Move)

Y axis:  -700  /  +0  (Table Move)

Z axis:  -650  /  +0  (Head Move)

Could you help me please ?

Best Regards ,

Sorry for the delayed response, Mehmet Can. If others aren't available to answer this, Rene can hopefully respond when he's back from holiday next week.

Hi Mehmet,

The 3-axis machine has been setup but I cant tell if you have the axes moving in the desired direction. I can only really only see if it has been configured. Your table does have too many components (+100) selected which SolidWorks doesn't like in the selection boxes. Slows down the UI quite a bit.

For the 5-axis machine can you share your configure assembly instead? The one you shared is the raw CAD model only as far as I can tell. Will make it easier to see what you want.
