Hi Guys,

posting this to help me (looking for feedback ) and help others. I am a new fusion360 user (just this machine at the moment) and got started with it a few months ago to make g code for a nakamura tome tw10 twin spindle lathe with y-axis on the main spindle. I had to make a few small post changes to get the main spindle going which now works nicely. When I was confident with that I made a new setup in fusion and posted code for the sub (no transfer yet just normal ops). Again some small changes where made (no y-axis on the sub, no commands from left to right only passing across via handshake/wait codes) and that is working great now so far.

The final problem is the transfer stuff. I have no real experience with posts. Before I dig into this can someone put me in the picture...

How should I go about solving the transfer problem? Is it feasible to do in fusion (only one wcs) ?

Should I just be happy with two setups - one for main and one for sub then put the code together by hand?

Happy to get advice! many thanks!

James
