Turning profile finishing outputting as roughing strategy

Hi

I'm trying to isolate some strategies in my post and when I look at the turning profile finishing, it has the isRoughingStrategy parameter as true and the isFinishingStrategy as false. Any ideas on why this is so?

I can upload files if necessary, but I have noticed it on all turning profile finishing operations I have, so upload maybe not needed

Hi @LorroPrecision ,

isFinishingStrategy will be enabled for finishing strategies of milling operations like (2D contour, 3D Finishing strategies etc), its not for turning operations. For Isolating I would suggest to go with Strategy name itself for e.g:  onParameter('operation:strategy', 'turningProfileFinishing').

It's strange that the strategy called turning profile finishing is given the roughing parameter though. There are strategy parameters to differentiate between milling and turning that are used in parallel, so why the need to label a finishing strategy as roughing? The difference between roughing and finishing is consistent whatever manufacturing process is used.
