Retraction Issue - How to correct or modify post?

Having an issue where tool/turret is not retracting far enough in X.

It is retracting to the clearance point, and then retracting to the Z Home. This causes a dangerous condition of being possible to rapid into the tailstock, depending on the clearance diameter.

What I need it to do is to retract to X clearance, then retract to X Home, then retract to Z Home, before heading back for a tool change. I have been through this post processor literally over a hundred times now and cannot seem to find where this motion is affected.

Can someone please explain to me how to affect this desired change? Thanks.

Best,

ZK

I can, but have finally figured it out. The issue was coming from the way that Inventor has the "Z Home" in the Set Up configuration for the part. I was confusing this with the machine's or tool's home position. So, HSM kept outputting the final moves as X Clearance and then followed with the Z Home from the Set Up. ( in this case, X1.55 and then Z 5.0 )

Once I realized what was actually happening, I changed the Set Up Z Home and then implimented a call in the Post Processor for G28 X & G28 Z for the proper tool home so it can safely affect tool changes.  Thanks.
