After latest update, my post processors have duplicated and are gone.  And what was a .txt extension is now .nc

The dropdown is now showing the file name and its description. So I think the "duplicated" part is expected.

Can you clarify what else you see (or don't see) vs. what's expected?

Do you have files in the directory that's specified?

I'm not clear what you mean about the file extensions -- that should be specified in the post.

This is an image of the exact post process on a different computer. It works correctly and for some reason pulls up different information.

We have seen some problems -- perhaps caused by antivirus tools -- that prevent the post.exe program, which handles the interrogation of the posts in the directory, from running.

I can't tell if that's what's happening for you, but the empty properties table is suspicious.

If you open the directory you have there in Windows explorer, do you see everything you expect?

OK. If you open a command prompt, and navigate to the folder where post.exe is:

  %localappdata%\Autodesk\webdeploy\production\2fc56ab2b960a23a37c37a3688c13a7f7fa1ecc7\Applications\CAM360

And you run post.exe, does it run? If you just run it without any arguments, it should just print a "usage" message.

Thanks,

  Jeff

Yep, OK. We've seen that on other machines. Seems to be, usually, an impact of AntiVirus -- maybe McAfee?

Yes, if you can, or disable it, and see what happens.

I'm not sure if you would need to reinstall after doing that.

Jeff,

After a total uninstall of McAfee and Fusion I am up and running.

Note: I did try to disable McAfee and did a reinstall of Fusion,it still

didn't let me post, so my suggestion is to unistall your virus software.

Thanks @Anonymous for the confirmation!

We are working to get the post executable included into the McAfee whitelist to avoid seeing this issue in the future.

Kind regards,

Peter

Update: In approximately 48 hours from now it should be possible to enable McAfee again without triggering this issue.

This should also permanently be fixed for future deployments of Fusion.

Kind regards,

Peter
