Post Processor for Mazak VCN-570C

Hello, We have switched over our CNC machines to Mazak VCN-570C and we are looking into using the Inventor HSM to work with the machines. I'm just learning the program and I was wondering about the post processor that would be best for working with this machine. I did try a program using the generic post processor for the Mazak machine that Autodesk does have but the codes are a little different. Can someone send me in the right direction to modify or if someone know's of a better post processor to use. Thanks in advance

Hi @Anonymous

Which post did you start with?

The post linked below should be very close to what you need.

https://cam.autodesk.com/hsmposts?p=mazak_vc500

If you do need edits the article below should be helpful.

Thanks,

Hi will_1,

I am using the Mazak post processor from Autodesk on a Mazak VCN-570c. Everything was working just fine, until it blew out the side of the cylinder it was machining.

I checked the code and I ran the code on three different simulators. I can not find what caused the machine to dig into my part. Below is a section of code where the tool is supposed to do two finishing passes around a .750" cylinder (I attached the first finish pass).

PLEASE ADVISE

I am happy to take a look at this if you are able to share the Fusion file that caused this error.
