Post processor for a CMS NC-PKB36-TUCU CNC machine

Hello, I'm trying to create/edit a post processor for:

Machine - CMS NC-PKB36-TUCU

Control - Osai S10.565

This is a 5-axis machine.

We have been running this on an old version of Delcam that we no longer have access to.

I've attached the old Delcam post processor and an example of the output code.

Any help with converting a post for this, or where to start would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Darren_Fisher,

There is a generic Osai post available in the Post Library.

You can change the machine kinematics (in the function onOpen) in the generic post to match the CMS machine.

There will probably be (a lot) more modifications required to match the output with the NC code from the ductpost. Alternatively, you can try contacting one of our CAM partners via the Service Marketplace who can provide a post for your specific machine.

Hope this helps,

Tom

Thanks, Tom,

I'm currently working through the Post Processor Training Guide making the modifications required.

Will let you know how I get on.
