Post Processor Configuration - Gone

@jeff.pek

I went to do some post processing today at the shop I'm a member of and the Post Configuration that I use and is specific for the machine I use was gone. I can find the post configuration in the network file of the shop but am unable to add it in the post process page that opens when you go to post process a toolpath. I'm not that familiar with the post process and could use some help figuring out what to do. I can provide the following information.

Post Processor Configuration - Generic AXYZ / 12010_AXYZ Millenium_A2MC_m3x.cps

CNC - AXYZ Z7

Thanks.

Hi -

In order to use the custom post processor, you need to either get it into one of the directories that's available via the "Setup" button at the upper right of the dialog, or use the Browser ("...") button to choose any other folder. Once you do this, it will remember the directory for later post process actions.

Probably the best place to put custom posts is either the "Personal Post Library" -- %AppData%\Autodesk\Fusion 360 CAM\Posts -- or, if you're using Fusion, the Cloud posts library -- if you have Cloud libraries enabled. The way to use the latter location is to upload your .cps file into the "CAMPosts" folder within the special "Assets" project, which will show up in the left-hand panel in Fusion once the Cloud libraries are enabled (in your CAM preferences).

Hi Jeff, sorry for the late reply. Thanks for the info. I was finally able
to get the configuration I needed, I just didn't know how to access it.
I'll have to save it to my own file on my laptop so it doesn't get wiped
out next time Fusion has an update.
