Biesse use many different formats. Can you post an example of the format your machine uses please.

Thanks for your reply,  Ideally we would need to output to CIX3 or CID3 formats to be able to bring the programs into Biesse Works for nesting.

If there's anything else you need please let me know.

Thanks

I believe the plans are for us to perform nesting in the Autodesk products. The CIX format should be okay for that.

Hi Andrew,

Apologies for the delay in getting to back to you, we're still getting things setup in the new factory but we now have the cnc up and running.

I can't seem to attach the example files from biesse works in CIX or bpp format so I've saved them out using notepad, hope this works. I think we can work with either the CIX or BPP format.

Let me know if there's anything else you need.

Many thanks,

Brian

We have been following the threads on Biesse for some time as we've been looking for something as well.

What is the procedure when you have something?

We run it through Biesseworks. It will import:

.CIX

.CID

.BPP

.DXF

Using the batch run utility, it will batch, convert and export multiple files in .bpp and or .iso.

There are also Biesse specific dxf & cid formats .dxfo & .cido we've never used.

We've used cid & dxf for imports but have not used the cix as yet but it does look promising.

Hi,

Did you solve your problem? I am looking to go directly to biesseworks with cid or cix from ArtCAM can this be done?

Thanks.

Hy, i would like to know if the CID or CIX files work in batch run, and or what's the best possibility to export a complete assembly at once to Biesse Skypper CNC? Thank you in advance.
