So I got my laser set up and it works with the inkscape plugin, but it really lacks in abilities. You're limited to selecting the entire image instead of just single parts. If I want different parts to be cut with a different power, I need to have separate images for each part and do the code separately. In fusion, I could simply create different toolpaths and that would be a million times easier.
How difficult would it be to make a post config for a laser to work with a carbide machine? Are there easier alternatives?
Thanks for any information,
