Okuma Post Mod to remove duplicate code and drill cycle edit

attached i have my current post which was modified for our Mill and would like the unnecessary duplicates of reposition moves eliminated in the canned cycle moves before and after the canned cycles. Also for some reason the okuma high speed drill cycle (G73) does not use the (Q) (pecking depth) command in the canned cycle. would like to have that added as well. thanks

Hi @adamwaldner

Thanks for raising your concern via Forum.

Have to modify the post  to omit the redundant coordinates,

Open post file in a 'Visual Studio Code' or 'Notepad++' to do the required modifications.

1. Search ' var xOutput

2. Remove ' force:true ' from that line.

3. Repeat the same for ' var yOutput '

For G73 - Chip breaking cycle, currently  the output is ' G73 X-25. Y10. Z-17.262 R4. I1. J5. F400 M53 ' . Could you send the format that you wish to modify?

Regards

(Q) in G73 should be the incremental pecking depth, currently im getting an alarm because it is missing altogether.

i honestly have no idea what the i, j, k does in that cycle cause our machine seems to ignore it 😐

Looks like the I just needs to be changed to Q. I've attached a modified post.
