Help Adding Tool Break Detection to Okuma Vertical Post

Hello,

I am hoping I can get some help running tool breakage detection to my vertical Okuma post. I am running the stock Okuma milling post. As per my setup guy, the Renishaw cycle I need to call is "CALL O9858"

I attempted to modify my post referencing this thread, but it doesn't call the program at the correct time or the correct tool. Adding these into the post properly called up and ran the sub program, however it called the sub program at the beginning of the cycle, only for the tool that was in the spindle, not the tool running in the program posted.

If possible, I would like tool break detection to run like it does on my Haas post. Where the it will only run the tool break detection program on the tools that have the "Break control" box checked under the "Post Processor" tab in the tool library. Also, just like it runs in the Haas post, I would like to only call the program at the end of the toolpath, or before the next tool change.

Thank you!

This post seems incompatible with my machine. I am using a Genos M560-V. This post is giving me "ERROR: 5212 SUBPROGRAM NAME 3 "M202". I don't really know much about modifying posts so I won't be able to trouble shoot much.

I assume you were getting the error with a tool using Through Coolant?

Try the attached.

Thanks for the post! Unfortunately, it still seems incompatible. It now allows me to load the program, but it gives me a new error: UNUSABLE: DIRECT OF LEFT SIDE. Scrolling through the post, it looks a lot different from the one I'm using. I'll attach the post I am using.

I believe the O9858 needs a "PD" to define the tool diameter.

Try this out.
