I've tried the genaric tiny post, it loads but my holes are way off after I run it. I've looked online and somewhere said to try using the genaric GRBL but that doesn't even load in Carbide 3D.

Is there a different control program I can use that will work with the Shapeoko 3 or is there a different post processor I should be useing?

Thanks,

Steve

Try the attached post.  This should work for you.

Thank you,

Hi Matthew,

You're suggesting to try the post processor carbide3d.cps (in ArtCAM for the Carbide 3D ShapeOko 3 CNC).

Can you please elaborate on how to add this to ArtCAM's list of output post processors?  I've searched all around, but cannot find the process of using this .cps file in ArtCAM.

I am currently running the demo version of ArtCAM, but intend to buy a subscription soon, and I would like to generate gcode for the ShapeOko 3 CNC, NOT the Nomad CNC (both are made by Carbide 3D).

Thank you

Steve

@Anonymous this post id for the AutodeskCAM/AutodeskHSM products. SO Fusion360, Inventor HSM and HSMWorks.

ArtCAM has it's own posts processors.

You can find their side of the forum here:
