Haas ST30Y threading cycle G92 to G76

Hi everyone,

I've got a quick question, about the threading cycle type toggling in the post features.

I have an OD threading to run on a haas ST30Y.

I use the latest ST30Y post from this page https://cam.autodesk.com/hsmposts

First I check the "use cycle" check box to call for a cycle

step1.jpg

then I go to the post setting page

step2.jpg

and this outputs and G92 as planned.

step3.jpg

now, I edited the post and changed the "useSimpleThread" value to "false"

I unchecked the "use simple threading cycle" option in the post properties...but it still ouputs a G92.

I reckon what I did in the post edition was just to alter what would be the default checkbox status, but there is something else somewhere to change, isn'it?

Any thoughts?

kind regards,

Remi

Hi @SADIM_cnc1 ,

I think your request is related to 'In feed mode' option inside Thread configuration.

In fact I think that G76 is available only with constant steps ( infeed ) as shown in attached picture.

Please test it carefully and let me know.
