I am using the Mitsubishi/Microdynamics 5-axis post processor for the Microdynamics 30VT. This post was written specifically for this machine and is not a generic post.
When using G43.4 (Tool Center Point Control) at the end of the machining cycle a G53 retraction is called. The G53/G28 is called before TCP is turned off this causes a P942 error on the control. "Invalid cmnd during T tip ctrl"
Here is a sample of my code:
N105050 X-24.476 Y12.023 Z140.767
N105055 X-24.471 Y11.96 Z140.956
N105060 X-24.452 Y11.933 Z141.123
N105065 X-33.138 Y16.575 Z142.859
N105070 M09
N105075 G53 G00 Z0.
N105080 G49
N105085 G00 A0. C0.
N105090 G53 G00 X0. Y0.
N105095 M30

The G49 to turn off The G43.3 (TCP) is BELOW the first G53 retraction line. I have manually moved the G49 above the G53 moves and everything seems to work ok.
How can I make this change in the post-processor?
Is there a reason not to make this change that I may not be aware of?
BTW the machine is trunnion 5 axis so it is always safe to retract in the Z direction.
