File Extension .CPSZ Post Editing???

I am working with Inventor Cam, and am having a couple issues.

1. I downloaded a post from the Autodesk Machine Library:

Machine: HAAS VF-3YT/50

Control/Post: HAAS (Pre-NGC)

Minimum revision:45909

The downloaded file extension is .CPSZ, it does not open in a text editor cleanly, it is like it is encrypted, just a bunch of random symbols. I've tried just changing the extension to .cps or .txt, but nothing changes. Is there a way I can edit these posts?

2. More specifically about changing a post, is there a way to eliminate the posting of "N" Sequence Numbers (N10, N15, N20, etc...) on each line of the code. I have both the increment and start number both set to 0 in the post process window, and all that does is put "N0" in front of each line. I don't want the N numbers at all.

3. I know this is a "Post Processor Forum," but I see how Fusion360 has a lot more toolpaths and more control over those toolpaths. Why does Inventor Cam not get these updates? Seems like Fusion360 gets all the goodies. I have a large library of Inventor files, I cannot switch to Fusion360.

Hello, @DerekV.
1. cpsz is a packaged post. You can open it as .zip archive by any software, that supports it. We have a basic documentation for it: Packaged posts | Autodesk Fusion
2. I suspect, you need to select "Use sequence numbers" to "No".
3. Hopefully, someone else can answer this.

Got it, just needed to change the file extension from .CPSZ to .ZIP, so simple. I did try searching more info on this before I made a post about it.

Thanks!

For anyone else having this issue in the future, don't forget to keep the folder zipped and to change the extension back to .cpsz after you are done with your edits to the post file inside the folder.
