We have recently added a used Mori NH-6300 DCG II machine to our shop. I am currently using a (4-axis) post from our Niigata HN-80D and its working fine with a few exceptions. Our Niigata automatically clamps and unclamps the B-Axis anytime it is moved, and the Mori requires M10 (clamp) and M11 (un-clamp) commands. Is there an easy way for me to add a selectable option for this post to output these commands anytime the b-axis is used? I do want the option to make it selectable because I don't want it outputting those commands if I'm running a 4-axis simultaneous tool path.
The second change I need, and I'll likely need to go to a VAR to have done, is this machine also has an A-axis rotary mounted to one of the pallets. The control is only capable of 4-axis simultaneous movement, but we have a 5th axis in the machine. This current post obviously does not have the A axis enabled. How difficult is it to modify to include this axis, but limit simultaneous movement to no more than 4 axis at any given time?
