4 axis wrap machining

Hi everyone,

Need someone who can tell how can machining the outside of circles  with 2d wrap adaptive  clearing , or even pocketing .

Hi,

Cyclic geometry can't be machined in Inventor CAM using  wrap.

What you can do:

1. Split the cylindrical surface with a plane (below the axis, for overlap — the pocketing operation stays within the boundary).
2. Extend the model from both sides, again for overlap.
3. Machine slightly past the halfway point, then mirror the toolpath.
