If there is one workpiece (say a round cylinder), the stock box points are around the perimieter and the center - allowing easy selection of an appropriate zero reference for the milling operation.
If I assemble 2 cylinder as workpieces (for pattern milling), the stock box points become the corners of the whole volume of space between the two workpieces, and the center is the center between them and not the center of the cylinders.
It would be good if the stock box points could include both, the whole volume of space between all the workpieces, as well as the stock points of each assembled workpiece.
