In Fusion360 it is possible to add more than one preset of cutting datas per each tool, so it is possible to add cutting data to one tool for different materials (i.e. steel, stainless steel and aluminium). When the tool is selectet for an operation so the specific preset can be selected.
For me this would be really important to have this option in inventor cam, otherwise I need to make multiple tool libraries, one for each material that I need to manufacture and again one for each machine we have in our shop.
We switch a moment ago from F360 to Inventor product design and manufacturing collection and want to use now inventor for constructing and inventor cam for manufacturing our parts. So when we make changes on the parts the toolpaths will update.
